Our Team

In our Phase 1 effort, we assembled our team focused on diversity of disciplinary thought and individual perspective. We span life scientists, engineers, computer/data scientists, social scientists, and beyond. Each of our participating researchers already has a long history of advancing their own discipline’s contribution to pandemic science (a taste of which can be found on our Contributions page), but the exciting part is what we can do together because of the synergistic efforts of our team.

Our goal is to continually challenge ourselves to use moments of confusion and miscommunication as opportunities to find hidden insights – instead of giving up, we ask what we can learn once we get past the disciplinary messes inherent in starting to answer any new, important question at the interface of our combined expertise.
